Stephen Bossom Obituary, Death – His death occurred unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the residence of his sister and brother-in-law in Hampstead, Maryland. Stephen Wade Bossom, age 51, was a resident of Hanover, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Preston Bossom, who passed away, and Anita Louise (née Cunningham) Bossom, who also passed away. He was born on April 6, 1972 in Baltimore, Maryland.

He graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown, Maryland, Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in photography, the University of Baltimore, where he earned his master’s degree in integrated design, and Loyola University, where he earned his master’s degree in business administration. Travellers Insurance employed him as a graphic designer throughout his time there. Piney Branch Golf Club counted him as a member at one point. In his spare time, he enjoyed taking photographs, reading novels, playing golf and playing football.

His sister Stephanie Ann Smith and his brother-in-law Martin J. Smith, Jr., both of Hampstead, are among those who have survived his passing. He is also survived by his nieces Abigail Dyer Smith and her fiance Kevin Tam of Belair, Maryland, and Amelia Caroline Smith of Hampstead, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In the evening of Thursday, January 25, 2024, from four o’clock to eight o’clock, the family will be present at the ELINE FUNERAL HOME, which is located at 934 South Main Street in Hampstead, Maryland. When the funeral home opens its doors on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., there will be a Celebration of Life held in honour of the deceased. The burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville, Maryland, close to where his parents resided.
