His married life explored
Patricia and José celebrated their 29th anniversary of marriage in September 2020. Patricia is originally from Spain and holds a degree from The University of Maryland.
She was working in the commercial department of an Embassy when she met her husband at the Café Atlantico, Washington D.C., where she was enjoying time with her friends. Since then, they have been inseparable.
In 2018, Andres lovingly praised his wife saying that Patricia is an organized and sensible person who has always given him great support and love over the years.
Indeed, it can be said that they share an unbreakable bond and an admirable relationship that is built on true love and trust.
All about his daughters
Carlota Andrés is the first daughter of Jose Andrés and his wife, Patricia Jaix. After graduating from the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in 2017, Carlota enrolled in the NYU Stern School of Business to pursue a degree in business, management, and food studies.
During her collegiate career, she interned at multiple renowned businesses such as Beefsteak, Cava, Lasso Ventures, and NYC Startup. Since graduating in May 2021, Carlota currently works at a food technology start-up named Wonder as a senior associate.
She will also be appearing on her father’s new culinary show José Andrés and Family in Spain to share her wealth of knowledge with viewers around the world!
Middle daughter-Inés Andrés
Exploring a life of service and dedication to helping others, 21-year-old Inés mirrors her elder sister in her countless volunteer hours with the World Central Kitchen and an excursion to Poland during the war.
She has already accomplished much and is set to graduate in 2023 from Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, having studied International Politics with a double minor degree in French and Anthropology.
Other than that, she has vast firsthand experience wherein she was able to witness the effects of violence on innocent lives. Her determination and commitment to creating a better world are inspiring.
Youngest daughter-Lucia Andrés
The dearly anticipated commencement of the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart this June marked an incredible moment of success for its class of 2022 and a time of immense pride for jubilant parents — none more so than Chef José, whose beloved youngest daughter Lucia was graduating.
Despite the tumultuous year that preceded the commencement, Chef José declared in his inspirational speech to the graduates that what they had accomplished was “a super big deal.” He urged them to embrace their newfound independence and shared his insights on life after graduation.
It was certainly a special occasion that both Lucia and her father will cherish fondly in years to come!
