The snapshot shows the former child star in a corner of the famous department store, which looks empty and lifeless, as she eats a snack and looks at the camera with a resigned expression. She captioned the image:
“For me, ‘the new normal’ will be when I can chill at @lepainquotidien during a @macys trip instead of eating a snack bar in a corner.”
LIFE AFTER “THE BRADY BUNCH”
Even though Plumb continues to work as an actress to this day, with more than 70 credits behind her and her last role played in 2020, Plumb is still best known for having played Jan Brady on “The Brady Bunch” as a child between 1969 and 1974.
Plumb, like many of her co-stars from “The Brady Bunch,” has returned to reprise the role in several spin-offs and sequels, but she has been described as “more selective” than her peers about appearing in cast reunions.
At least this is the opinion of “The Brady Bunch” biographer and author Kimberly Potts, who revealed in her book “The Way We All Became The Brady Bunch” that Plumb is careful not to keep giving the same interviews again and again.
And contrary to most of her former co-stars of similar age in the series, Plumb had a long list of acting credits before joining the cast of “The Brady Bunch,” which gives her a different perspective of her time in the hit show.
As we mentioned above, Plumb’s prolific career is not limited to “The Brady Bunch” franchise, and she has been in shows like “Fantasy Island,” “The Love Boat,” “Fudge,” “That ‘70s Show,” “Law & Order: SUV,” and “Blue Bloods.”
In 2019, along with several of her former co-stars, including Steve Ford, Susan Olsen, Barry Williams, and Maureen McCormick, took part in HGTV limited series “A Very Brady Renovation.”
TAKING UP PAINTING
The show also allowed Plumb to showcase one of her lesser-known abilities, which is painting, which she revealed to have discovered at the peak of her acting career, as something to do in between jobs.
Painting is also a passion that Plumb has in common with her longtime husband Ken Pace, and nowadays the two share a studio in New York City and have been painting together for more than two decades.
